Fitting that Murphy’s last game will likely be a loss to our rivals form Kalamazoo (my hometown).

22-16 EMU with 3 minutes to go. Montero is heating up, and just drew a technical by talking trash. Emotions are heating up. There will be a fight in this game. I can feel it.

James Love III is actually playing minutes tonight. Axel had a block.

There are HS games in the country played tonight that exhibit more performance than this one. These clearly are two very bad basketball teams.

Let's be honest, WMU really sucks. Titus Wright is good but beyond that they have nothing. Unfortunately we have Groce, Montero, Morgan and McBride who could start and flourish at WMU but we only have a nine point lead.

The telecast is amateurish but it indeed matches the game play.

Side note. Spottsville must have pictures of Murphy in compromising situations. He clearly has no business playing as much as he does.

Agreed on everything. Without B Artis, Western is really weak. Agreed on Spottsville - he has a role playing 10 minutes a game, but not 30. Problem is he’s the best we have, unless you want to put McBride at the point.

Steals are a deceiving statistic, WMU simply has thrown the ball away in many occasions.

Honestly I would replace the word "consistency" with the term "direction". Morgan, McBride, Montero and James have all flashed brilliance at times over the previous two years. They are good players, they just need a coach.

An offensive system in general would help tremendously. They all have to create their own shots.
