No one. Lol. He’s a lottery pick.

he should be POY, but im not sure ive gotten that sentiment from aac coaches in interviews...

sampson has stated 4 of his 1st team.. jarron, scott, vital and igbanu ...meaning precious or gardner arent on his 1st team at all

Sampson interviewed at the half yesterday ... Precious is !! Today, what do you do to stop him. !!! You can't stop him, he's a step above !!!
Sounds like he may vote for him after all !! Just saying ...

The American Conference plays an unbalanced league schedule. Here are the combined records for each team's conference opponents.

@UHCougarMBK: 168-156, .519

Cincinnati: 157-167, .485

Tulsa: 151-163, .466

With UConn leaving and the conference going to 11, a 20-game round robin is entirely doable. It's questionable as to whether the higher-end basketball programs want to give up the extra two OOC games though.

Absolutely not.

That's what I expect the sentiment to be, at least in the short term. However, if that's going to be the case and the league is going to continue to manage the schedules in a way where the expected best teams in the league maximize matchups with each other and look to avoid playing the weakest teams twice (including the possibility of adding one or two stronger A10 programs to replace UConn), then somebody's going to need to play those weaker programs. "Middle of the pack" programs making occasional runs at a regular season title by fattening up on the lower-level teams may be a side effect of the current scheduling setup (and honestly isn't a terrible program-building tool for them).

That's all a long-winded way to say that the schedule imbalance between Houston and Tulsa is actually by design, at Houston's request.

Two things that are a given: Wichita State and Conference Tournanent = heartbreak. It has been this every year but one for 22 years now.
