I have a question for the more experienced hoops players. In the 2nd half of last night's game, a UNCW player hit a three at about the same time the ref called a Tribe player for a moving screen. The refs counted the three and awarded UNCW the ball. Wouldn't it be one or the other? If the foul happened before the shot, the three is waived off. If afterward, the foul is waived off and the Tribe gets the ball?

That was a blown call. It should have been a foul on us but the shot should have been disallowed.

Did anyone else see the blatant flop by Kochera after he missed a 3-point attempt during UNCW’s run?

Since he’s on the Tribe let’s just call that a heady play

Hofstra beats Delaware in first QF today, 83-75.

This is the 3rd straight year the Hens have been bounced out by Hofstra.

Jalen Ray is a good player, but he is definitely no JWF (or Buie or Juanya Green for that matter). I think a big reason of why they did much worse in conference this season is not having an elite level college PG carrying their team. If the CAA wasn't so terrible this year, they could have had a below .500 conference record, even with the best big man in the conference...

Wow! The JMU coach gets a technical foul with 1:14 to go in a 1 point game in the 2nd half ... so so bad and stupid for him to do that.

Happy to see them go. Just remember that the CAA POY (Lewis) got hurt and couldn't play. Probably not really worthy of the 1 seed without him.
