Nameless's Thoughts
We are the worst offensive team in the history of Big East basketball. This is pitiful to watch.

Sorry Stever had to steal your thunder

I second this. We can blame it on Covid!

In all seriousness I may not even watch the 2nd half. May just be better off going to bed lol

RE: Nameless's Thoughts
I turned the game off and went to bed... We figured out how to score and ended up winning by 13 on the road for a Q2 win.

I caught the final minute of our first game against Creighton. We blew that one in the final minute.

Am I bad luck? Will stop watching for the rest of the season if so lol

Down year for the Big East. I guess if there was a year to underperform, it would have been in a COVID year. Only Villanova and Creighton will have quality seeds to have a chance at reaching the second weekend. Xavier, UConn and/or Seton Hall will have lower seeds and could be a one-and-done, if they even make it.

it's funny though GW- this may be the year to be a 7-10 seed. yea get the 1-2 seed in 2nd round- BUT you don't have to worry about playing a team in a away type of situation...

At least UConn made it to 70 points, NLess. Congrats on the win. Georgetown (57 points) shot 36 percent from the field. Not good. I did not see the game and glad I did not waste my time.

I sure hope Creighton does not obliterate DePaul tonight.

I plan to watch some of Marquette at UNC battle in Chapel Hill.

I saw us on the 12 line in Decourcy's bracket. I wouldn't mind that. We can beat a 5, and a 4. Would be tough to take out a 1 after that but anything is possible. Don't see any team as that dominant this year.

Also wouldn't mind a 10. Same path as a 7, and we've won it all that way before 04-cheers

However, if we play the way we played for half the game last night, we won't even make it to the tourney. If we can actually remember how to shoot? Sky is the limit

Yeah, be glad you missed it Bill. As I said, I went to bed like 3min into the 2nd half. I'm happy my mom recorded it, I was able to head over today and watch the 2nd half when we actually turned it around.

Caught most of the 2nd half. You guys played sloppy at some points but still controlled the game, and the box score showed it. Curious to see how much this boosts your NET, lol.

Not exactly sure why they're so happy. I know they're rivals but doesn't this kind of hurt their tourney chances if UConn is able to beat MU a 2nd time? It's not like this loss knocks UNC out of the field, and if Duke beats them the final game of the season, it makes the W less impressive, no?

It is a funny tweet, though

All MU fans should have been convinced they would blow the game in the 2nd half. We watched this movie multiple times before. Glad for the alternate ending.

UNC trolled the heck out of them just last season when Duke lost to SF Austin(yes, that was just last season- feels like about 5 years ago). Turnabout here is fair play.

RE: Nameless's Thoughts
X and Hall losing last night sucks. Xavier is currently our 2nd best win, and we were banking on winning @Hall to gives us some breathing room. Oh well. If we just win out and win 1 game in the BE tourney, I think we'll be alright.

I think the league may have lost a bid last night though

I've been a North Carolina fan for a long time and Roy's "folksy, 'aw-shucks' 'God-a-mighty' communication style" ... continues to grow more and more off-putting. However, I do like that he is classy in defeat.

I didn't see the game (glad I didn't). Congrats to GW11's MU Warriors.

I did watch some of the Creighton vs. DePaul game. I did not realize how good CU is. Strong. Final Four potential. At least the Big East has two teams with some tourney run capability. I was thinking maybe only one (Nova). I was wrong.
