Sadly the best player in the WAC won't be winning it due to COVID and an injury.

With UVU's win tonight, I think Aimaq might has become the favorite to be selected WAC POTY... And, WAC Newcomer of the Year.

It will be a tossup between him and Trammell.

Trammell is also special. Both Trammell and Aimaq are sophomores. I would still give it to Aimaq because he leads the nation in rebounding and if UVU wins tomorrow, the Wolverines will be the regular season champions and the #1 seed in the WAC Tournament.

If Terrell Brown did not transfer from SU, they would have easily been the champs. Trammell and Brown would have been something stellar.

And Brown has had a rather unremarkable season at Arizona.

If Brown was still at SU Trammell wouldn't be at SU.

Neither Aimaq or Asbjorn got WAC player of the week

Gibson from TSU gets it in the final week of the regular season.

Do we see a Co-WAC Player of the Year?

Aimaq 68 MINS 24REB 2 AST 2 BLK 5 TO 23 PTS - #1 in the nation w/ REB 15.1 per game

Asbjorn 63 MINS 15 REB 1 AST 3 BLK 3 TO 23PTS - #1 in the nation w/ FG% at 72%

With Tarleton's Montre Gipson getting the WAC POTW honors this weekend, every team except Chicago State and New Mexico State had a player get selected WAC Player of the Week.
