SBC Basketball Tournament
Question, what's the formatting supposed to be like for the conference tournament this year given all teams aren't playing each other and some will have played less games than others in conference? Anyone know?

Seeded by Division record. Top 2 teams in each division get first round byes
3rd place in one division plays 6th place in the other
4th place in one division plays 5th in the other

Winner 3-6 plays the 2 seeds
Winner 4-5 plays the 1 seeds

and it goes from there.

Will the rankings be based off of total conference wins or winning percentage to account for some teams not playing as many games?

Winning percentage, however there's a number of league games a team must play in order to be seeded. If they fall below that number, then they automatically get seeded 6.

Georgia State is only one in danger, and they'd have to have another full outbreak to get there.

They better also hope an opponent doesn’t have an outbreak.

Arena capacity (around 10,000) will be capped at 50% and face coverings will be required for those in attendance.

Fans can purchase tickets at Ticketmaster or through the Bay Center box office.

So is GAST a lock for the East 6th seed, since they had to cancel the Troy series & the game in the Boro vs. Southern?

A final decision on the Panthers fate will rest with the Sun Belt Office. They may get a reprieve given the number of cancellations league wide this week. We'll see.

I'll gladly take a #5 seed for Troy.

Troy needs to at least split with Georgia State this weekend.

Half of the games on the Men's side will start at 9pm ET or later. That's a lot of late night basketball...

The effect on GaSt is not the issue to me. It will be most unfair to the 3rd seed in the West, who would have to open with one of the best teams in the league, rather than your "typical" 6 seed.
