NMSU will be playing in El Paso at Eastwood HS; since New Mexico is still closed for college sporting events.

Better looking than some other "gyms" I've seen in the conference, tbh.

I agree but its kinda funny that some of the NMSU posters have made fun of other WAC members and their HS looking gyms are not having to play in a actual HS gym. Again that being said its a great looking gym.

Well, CBU should feel right at home at the Eastwood HS gym. The colors match their uniforms better than our Aggies. At least the court isn't an ugly blue like at CSUB.

It still doesn't change the fact NMSU has the Legendary Pan American Center, the toughest place to play at in the WAC.

I agree but this year it's nothing more than a old relic of greatness of past seasons.

Is NM the only state that’s not allowing college sports?

The state is doing the right thing. The truth is no one should be playing anything. Putting these kids futures at risk is just wrong. I wanted them to play just as much as everyone else but after catching the virus and seeing how I still have symptoms a month after recovering from it, this virus could literally end careers. I'm glad our state made the decision they made. They're doing what is right.

The rest of the country figured out how to play in a COVID world. No excuse why NM couldn't.

Hilarious. First off this high school "arena", not gym is nicer than at least 3 schools in the WAC. No bench seats, everything brand new, etc. Second, an old relic of greatness of past seasons??!! That made me laugh 87. Well, enjoy your GCU greatness squeaking out two wins over a team that was kicked out of its state, two starters nursing injuries, no practice time or games cause of Covid-19, players recuperating from Covid, players spending the holidays away from their families and the ones they love, etc. Bascially because of all the crap NMSU had to go through NMSU spotted GCU 15 points in each of those games. If NMSU doesn't have any more stupid pauses and gets to practice regularly and gets some games under their belt and we meet in Vegas my friend we will see what the old relic program is going to do to GCU. It's not gonna be pretty.

RE: Aggies practicing at their new "home" court confines...
Strictly talking about the building not the program that will have more covid pauses than the NMSU football team will have wins in spring football....

I've never seen someone qualify their L's on repeat so much after two tough games where the team took it on the chin.

Player sacrifice is no greater at NMSU than elsewhere nor is NMSU the only WAC team to have multiple Covid pauses.

It's amazing how a team with 3 wins vs your team has so much free real estate in your head my friend.
