Yeah 247 has him committed to FAU since July, but hopefully some things are happening behind the scenes that lead him to Ypsi on Wednesday.

Also, 247 isn't always 100% accurate. For example, they still don't list James Burnett as committed to EMU yet while rivals does.

Assuming Burnett signs Wednesday, if we could then add Starling and then another LB and/or DL transfer who could play right away that would be a cherry on top of an excellent class.

And I assume Burnett's brother will transfer as well.

If I'm right, these recruiting services are very slow to update things such as a 'silent' de-commit, but maybe that is the problem, it is 'silent' - no Tweet, no... just us eagle eyed recruiting guys looking for telling Tweets.

I'm betting he does not sign with FAU. As the Ty Wheatley article (elsewhere) these recruits had their chance to sign in Dec and didn't...

We are now 24 hours away and I was unable to find any new vibes through Twitter, 247sports, etc. (looked at decommits, etc.).

And remember: Bird will be going on scholarship. Bryant will be signing his LOI. Need to figure those two into our LOI count.

The athletic department was promoting this today, so hopefully they know of some good news coming. We know Burnett will (should) be signing tomorrow but we'll see if anything else happens.

Yes, researching him it looks like he was a sprinter at Oklahoma State and listed as a senior on their website. I assume that would mean he'd come in and have one year to play (not sure how transferring for different spots works)? A guy that was a sprinter at a P5 school though...I'd assume that'd give us the burner we'd need at WR.

If they are able to add Starling and Duvall along with the young freshmen WRs we have...that would help lesson the blow of losing Q and Parks.

Not sure that it does for this class. That said, asst coaches recruit areas and not by position so Paige's loss will be felt mostly in Ga.

i made this point in another thread but two of our best three receivers are walk ons so im not sure how valuable he was in recruiting to begin with.

Feel like this is election night as the votes are counted going East to West. We have now crossed 3 time zones, and only the Pacific is left.

Presumably if the CA JUCO WR is ours we should know say within the hour. If not, we could still hold out for transfers, esp. grad transfers.

I believe 3 of our signees are scholarship.

Still tons of transfer looking for a new home... if we have scholarships left.

Does this mean that we are done? 3 new recruits + Bird gets a schollie. That's 4 and that might be topping out the 2021 class.
