Oh yeh, true true. Army's defense is still very much based on the 2014-2015 App State D. Especially with the addition of Gas and Braswell.

That could turn out to not be such a great career move. If Mike Houston has another losing season he's probably gone (he's 7-14 in 2 seasons), whereas Chad Lunsford's chances of still having his job at Georgia Southern in 2022 is pretty good. He could stay at GS and have a chance to get a P5 RB coach job down the road.

Woody was in no way a poach from Appalachian State, considering that he went to GT and then to Michigan before going to Army.

Right I forgot about his short stop at GT. He being at Army and grabbing guys that have excelled in a system he runs is the reason Gas and Braswell got poached by Army

Troy just made the conference, particularly CCU, happy. They hired Kansas' Luke Meadows as OC/OL coach.

Rod West will be the next cornerbacks coach at App State. He comes from Richmond where he was CoDC and CB coach. He is also one of AFCA's 35 under 35.

Hard to be successful at Kansas, no matter what position you're coaching. It's just another Vanderbilt. Even Les Miles is failing at Kansas.

This is a great hire if you look past Meadows being at Kansas. Meadows has been successful everywhere else. He was Chip Lindsey's OL coach when Lindsey was OC at Southern Miss... and Chip Lindsey's offense was blowing the doors off of everyone.

Chip Lindsey originally wanted him as O-Line coach at Troy, but Lindsey had just hired him at Kansas when Lindsey was OC there for just one week.

GSU hires new RB Coach. Joe Graves was the RB Coach at ULM for the last three seasons.

That's an interesting hire for sure. A RB coach from an air raid team. That's now 3 people on staff from air raid teams. I know the OC we have now is a fan of 50/50 balanced offense. It'll be interesting to see where we are headed with this.
