Its a home and home plus a payday game.
1st game at ou was payday.
2nd game at tu
3rd vame at Ou
Its structured this way so OU couldnt back out of playing at Tulane without losing the free visit by Tulane for the third game.

Yeah, I guess as Memphis fans and maybe Houston fans, we may want to buy some green clothes and get down there to help a brotha out. They never have a full stadium as far as I have seen.

oklahoma has no good recruiting in its geographical area, and the food sux in norman
Oklahoma high school football is exceptional, but there are 4 million in Oklahoma, and 29 million living in Texas. Sorry if OU's recruiting in Houston each and every year has left you with butt hurt of the brain. Also, it's their, not there.
Not to mention the fact that there is NO WAY you can't get a good steak in Norman Oklahoma.

I will agree to this. There are very few things I have smelled worse than driving through the panhandle of Oklahoma in between a bunch of feedlots.

Every time I go to Oklahoma, the waiter always says to be careful as the cook put lots of black pepper in the dish so it's extra spicy.

I wish I was. Twice now, once in OKC and most recently (July) in Shawnee.

truth be told, dalhart tx in the texas panhandle is also the worst smell, don’t drive north of dalhart on your way to colorado if you do miss your exit you will be rudely reminded by the cattle stockyards located there just next to the oklahoma panhandle

It really is. I saw USF play there in 2017 and it was a great time, although the heat/humidity can get pretty severe if you are sitting under the overhang area. Oh well, Floridians know all about that, LOL.
And this game vs OU on September 4th is going to be just blazing hot. No way around that. If they play during sunlight expect 94 with a brutal sun beating down. Even if it's an 8 PM kickoff it will still be in the mid-80s with stifling humidity.

So what? USF won that argument over UCF a couple years ago. Getting a true blue-blood elite like Oklahoma in Tulane Stadium is a massive coup, and well worth two games in Norman, which also provide good exposure.
You're going to play some road OOC games anyway, might as well schedule elites if you can.

Its a 1 for 1 plus a payday game. A 2 for 1 would have Tulane not being paid for the first visit 3 years ago. That is not the case.

Why would Tulane not be paid for their first game three years ago?
All 2 for 1 contracts that I know about provide for the visiting team to be paid for travel expenses, etc. usually about $300,000. That applies for both schools. The home team keeps all receipts.
