The Northwestern State Demons and the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2023 and 2025 seasons, FBSchedules.com has learned.

A copy of the contract with Stephen F. Austin University was obtained from Northwestern State University via a state public records request.

In the first game of the series, Northwestern State will host Stephen F. Austin at Harry Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches, La., on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. The series will conclude two seasons later when the Demons travel to face the Lumberjacks at Homer Bryce Stadium in Nacogdoches, Texas, on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.

With the addition of Southeastern Louisiana, Tarleton State now has four non-conference opponents scheduled in 2023 and six in 2024. In 2023, the Texans will host North Alabama and will travel to play McNeese and Texas Tech.

Tarleton’s 2024 slate includes home games against McNeese and Kennesaw State and road games against Baylor, Houston Baptist, and Missouri State.

Tarleton travels to Southeastern in 23 and hosts in 24.

The Idaho Vandals and the Utah Tech Thunderbirds have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2029 and 2030 seasons, FBSchedules.com has learned.

A copy of the contract with Utah Tech University (formerly known as Dixie State University) was obtained from the University of Idaho via a state public records request.

In the first game of the series, Idaho will host Utah Tech at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho, on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2029. The Vandals will travel to face the Thunderbirds at Greater Zion Stadium in St. George, Utah, the following season on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2030, which will conclude the series.

Idaho and Utah Tech are scheduled to meet on the gridiron for the first time ever on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 at the Kibbie Dome. That game, which was previously announced, was agreed to under a separate contract. The Vandals will pay the Thunderbirds a $100,000 guarantee for that contest.

The Utah Tech Trailblazers (formerly known as Dixie State) will travel to take on the UNLV Rebels at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024. This will also be a first-time matchup.

Lamar's new schedule is out. Two WAC programs are still on it.
Sept 1 - ACU vs Lamar in Abilene - now as a non-conference game
Nov 12 - NMSU vs Lamar in Las Cruces as a non-conference game as previously scheduled.

Hope the other schedules messed up by Lamar's no-notice move back to the Southland are quickly resolved.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits and the Utah Tech Trailblazers have agreed to reschedule their postponed football game in 2020 to the 2024 season, FBSchedules.com has learned.

South Dakota State was previously scheduled to host Utah Tech on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, but the game was canceled due to the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Jackrabbits will now host the Trailblazers at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings, S.D., on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, according to a copy of the contract amendment obtained from South Dakota State University via a state public records request.
