After last weekends split of games at Elon the Lady Dukes welcome the Northeastern Huskies to the AUBC for two game this Saturday and Sunday. The Huskies are currently 2-5 and have had a games against Elon and Charleston postponed. They have one CAA win against Hofstra.

The Dukes are coming off a lackluster performance against the Phoenix from last Sunday. Coach O is back and I am sure he has been working the team hard to get them ready for this weekends slate of games.

Games will be broadcast on FLO as usual.

Well this is Postponed due to Northeastern positive cases

At least the game was home, so we didn't travel for nothing.

That would really ssssuuuucccckkkkk....

I just do not know how the Dukes are going to be able to reschedule and play all these games that are being postponed. Have a feeling we are looking at a 10-12 game conference schedule when all is said and done.

Eh...the fact that the games are being cancelled on a weekly basis. More specifically, that we seem to be doing a better job than our conference mates, yet it just doesn't matter.

Now, that said- If it had been virtually any other poster, I would give my answer without further comment. You, however, have a well earned reputation for being prickly and argumentative. And if you think I'm kidding- I'm not. I still have a screenshot of GTS's verbal slamming of you when you just wouldn't let things go, back in June. It was epic -and frankly a shame that more didn't see it. You probably remember that time, as you took a week or so off in "time out". Quit looking for a fight everywhere and just enjoy the board.

You know, the irony is that I read your first two sentences and thought to myself, "Fair enough."

And then you were the one who decided to come out guns blazing to a fight that didn't exist. I asked for clarification. You gave it. Then you got weirdly combative. Do you keep your little screenshots of college sports message board posts in a special folder for your grandkids? "Alright Jimmy and Jenny, time to read you a bedtime story about when Grandpa read an argument on the internet between total strangers and decided it was worth cherishing forever and ever."

DNR reporting this might just be a safety precaution- no positive case yet at NE and we may end up playing this series Mon/Tues this week

Nope- just that one, and an classic rant by Razor Ramon- mainly because they were epic and usually disappear.

And my reaction was brought about because I'd bet my last dollar that you were looking to add another to your litany of Covid fights. I have zero interest in such discussions. I'm just a selfish bastard who was looking forward to this weekend's doubleheader.

Bummer that there is no game today and tomorrow, will have to find something else to do I guess!!

Starting to get old to say the least. I just hope they can get enough games in this season to make it worthwhile.

Not counting the Ivy League, who canceled their season to start with, a lot of teams have canceled their seasons midway. The funny thing, to me at least, is that most of those teams have had losing records anyway...Virginia, Vanderbilt, etc. Of course, they might not have had losing records if they could have put a team together to begin with, but someone was always sick or injured.....

I’ll take that dollar now, guy who decided what my intentions were for me.

For the first time in a decade my interest is more on the men’s team versus the women’s basketball team, though in I continue to have interest in the women.

On the afternoon of January 20th, the CDC and WHO suddenly released new rules to help prevent 'false positives', so there is now a much higher bar to clear in order to be deemed "Covid positive." It wouldn't surprise me if sports program members start showing much fewer positives and hopefully they can get a full season in.
