Charles Huff was the only African American hire this cycle out of all new 13 FBS coaches and 4 new NFL coaches.

Interestingly, New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh is the NFL's first Arab American head coach.

One small point, Huff is Marshall's second Black head coach. Dwight Freeman is Marshall's first Black head coach. I hope this hire turns out better.

I think anyone old enough to remember Freeman, would like to erase him from memory. At 43-65 he was just as awful as Ron Jirsa at 43-74.
