Not sure this is the right decision, but I'm expecting Steele to be promoted very soon after an AD is chosen.

Outside the box thought (as a TN fan near KC): If Beiniemy doesn't get an NFL gig, I'm at least placing a call (I'll be laughed at, but I'm making the call).

RE: Pruitt Out
This isn't a surprise. The real news is Philip Fulmer is retiring. Good.

Had they kept the last AD, and allowed Greg Schiano to have the head fb coach job, results would have been better.
That's just my opinion.

Schiano went 3-6 this year. Not saying TN fans were right in doing what they did in 2018, but he hasn't proven he would be better either. Make TN look more stable and not have such dsyfunction associated with the school? Absolutely.

I didn’t think Schiano would have done any better in Tennessee.

The question is will an AD be selected so they can hire the head coach or are they going filly Arky and letting the boosters pick the new ball coach? Arkansas did select the great Chad Morris, hope the Tenners boosters go better.

It was an epic mistake allowing Phil Fulmer to have influence again.

It appears he's finally out the door now, but to say he's been a destabilizing force is an understatement...even before he took the AD job.

Agreed. Last years coaching search on Rocky Top was a s#!tshow. And firing a coach after three years is going to limit the quality of coaches UTN can attract.

I don’t know if Fulmer was that epic of a mistake considering the in fighting occurring amongst BMD’s and the Univ. president. Hopefully UTN can find someone without connections to Knoxville to come in and square up the department.
