I think that is a requirement for a coach coming out of the UVA ranks. 07-coffee3

I believe McDevitt is 4-1 against Sanchez

Congrats. Our team is becoming an easy out.

I'd much rather watch the double and triple OT games between a top 25-30 rosters. Duels between Aaron Johnson cam Moore and Culpepper. Here's to getting utep back on the map... And UAB too.

At least UAB is doing well. Most Miner fans think we have a pretty good roster but no coaching.

The refs today were absolutely HORRIBLE. They should be banned from CUSA. It's the only officiating crew that I've seen wipe multiple baskets OFF THE BOARD against Tech, in back to back games after making bad calls. Of course they were all against LA Tech in both games.

Yesterday, it was a 3-pointer. Today, in the last few seconds of the game, Tech's Kenny Lofton scored 2 points on a great drive to the basket, AND drew the foul, setting up the 3 point opportunity for Tech with only a few seconds left in the game. But NOOOOO, these stupid refs called charging on Lofton, and wiped his 2-pt basket off the board. Of course, he didn't get the free throw either. This is with only a few seconds left in a game that was within 1 or 2 points at the time. It was absolute theft.

But it was like that the entire game today. I saw so many "walks" committed by UNT that these refs just ignored. Also, these refs put the hero of last nights game --Tech's Isaiah Crawford-- in foul trouble "jail" very early in the game, by calling 3 fouls in Crawford, two of them very, very cheap.

Today's game did convince me of one thing: If given fair game officials with any integrity whatsoever --on a neutral court-- LA Tech is a solid 7 to 10 points better than UNT. UNT got a lot of help from the game officials today, and just can't match Tech without that help.

What a joke of a comment. I was at the game today and almost every questionable call went AGAINST North Texas. The charge at the end by Lofton was clear as day and the right call. No way is La Tech a 7-10 point better then NT thats just a homer statement if i have ever heard one. Enjoy losing to us in Frisco in March.

I was at both games. They were not decided until late and we were fortunate to win. Utep has a lot of talent.

Three things are certain in life: Death, Taxes, and UL-Ruston fans blaming the refs for a loss.

It is amazing that some teams have played TWICE as many conference games as other CUSA teams. Two games or maybe even four is reasonable, but only playing 6 conference games smells of dodging good opponents.

Here is a crazy stat for you, Marshall has played one home conference game and seven on the road. Of those road games they have been against WKU, LA Tech, and ODU.

Nice try. Let's be clear: Without the help of the cheating game officials ON YOUR OWN COURT yesterday, UNT doesn't win this game.,

I said from the beginning of this year that I didn't know what to expect from LA Tech mens basketball, but "probably not much". It was billed as a rebuilding year for Tech. So, my expectations have been limited. But Tech is playing much better than I expected.

If Friday's hero Isaiah Crawford (27 pts) doesn't get 3 cheap, ticky tac, fouls in the first 5 minutes of yesterday's game, Tech wins again. Those cheap calls resulted in Crawford only playing 19 min & scoring 5 pts Saturday, vs 30 min and scoring 27 pts Friday night.

In fact, if Saturday's game had been called properly, Tech's Archibald was fouled by #24 Zachery Simmons on that very last missed free throw (on purpose) "put back" shot, and should have gone to the line shooting 2 for Tech FOR THE TIE, with no time left. But of course, these officials just missed it. They just looked the other way when any outcome could have benefitted Tech.

Without this huge interference from the refs, UNT doesn't even beat Tech on your own home court yesterday. 03-lmfao

I feel ya. LA Tech has played 12 CUSA games, including 2-game series' at WKU, UNT, and UTEP, and one road game at USM. We also played Marshall at home. That's pretty stout too.

Wow - that explains the won-loss record for the Herd. Rice fans are looking to the February 19-20 games in Houston to confirm Coach Pera continues to improve the Owl program. They’ll also likely be critical to Rice’s seeding in the conference tournament since the conference office was so kind to UTSA in their cross-divisional schedule (FIU, FAU, Charlotte) and so tough on the Owls (ODU, WKU, Marshall).

I guess nobody wants to go to Marshall and play 2 games back to back.
Hope the next couple of home series with MTSU and North Texas are played.

Craziness augmented by you having 7 home games and 2 away games in football this season.

Yep they sure did.... Crazy that despite having all of our non-conference games cancelled our AD was willing to find 3 replacements (EKU, Appy, and UMASS) plus have these games at home when only 12, 000 fans were allowed. Crazy that we won both of our 2 road conference games, but loss 1 of 3 home conference games.... Despite this it was crazy that we got to host the championship game and still loss.
