Did you have that same opinion when McConnell blew the deficit up with those tax cuts?
I'm not addressing the print print print because I personally would rather Americans spend their money than those in congress. So I'm not totally against it. I'm against all the pork that goes along with it.
But since those tax cuts the the largest employer in the United States has raised their wages from $8 or $10 dollars an hour to $12 to $15 dollars starting out pay. I cant speak to across America in large cities. But that's what it was mostly in small town USA.
That increase started happening with in weeks of the tax cuts. Now tell me, isnt that what a tax cut suppose to do?
Both of my sons (now 26 and 30) have doubled what they were making before Trump took office and the tax cuts. The oldest stopped teaching and went to Walmart and went from a department team leader making 40k (teaching he was 29k but good benefits) and 18 months later manager/team leader over all of food service. Making 62k a year. Three years ago that same job was 48k. 18 months from now he's looking at a store manger...$125k, if the democrats dont tax them into a slowdown
My youngest went from food service making 18k (27k with tons of OT) to a new line at Acola where he made 44k 2020. That new line did not happen till Trump attacked the cheap China Steel flooding America. Cheap in more ways than one and With Biden that job may be in danger.
I personally had 6 people that were longtime renters from us that work at WalMart. I'm talking middle age low 40s to 50 year old. With the pay increase they have become home owners for the first time in their life.
Whats wrong with that tax cut? Its the way a tax cut is suppose to work and it did just that. Maybe not so much in high price cities. But for lower working class...wages are up across the board
