Exclamation 2020-21 Bowl Payouts
The ACC football season was successful in one way: bowl revenue. The ACC will split $55.7 million, or about $3.71 million per school, including Notre Dame, which does not get to keep all of the $6 million from the Rose Bowl this time. That gives the ACC the 2nd highest revenue behind the SEC, which sent more teams to bowls.

A big part of that is, admittedly, the $27.5 million from the Orange Bowl, but even if we factor out that money, it's $28.2 million - still good for 2nd place.

This, along with TV revenue, is probably the REAL reason the ACC was so keen on playing football in 2020...

In addition, the conference will receive its distribution from the CFP, which should be a larger amount. For the 2019-20 season, the payout to P5 conferences was $66 million apiece.

Yes, but all P5 conferences receive that money equally.

TAMU being kept out of the playoff cost us some money. Otherwise Miami would have gone the HOF Bowl.

Next year I expect NC State will finish 10-2 with a loss to Clemson and WF and get ****** out of the Orange Bowl. Since it's a playoff bowl.
