I believe I stated we have "some issues" (which were unfortunately highlighted Wed nite), but baseball is light years ahead of football and basketball (which may not be saying much) and is NOT ALL NEGATIVE.

USM is where it is not only because of dumb (and dumber) administration choices, but also because so many of our "fans" spend more time rejoicing losses than doing something about it.

That is all....

the last 4 is about as good as I've seen from a starting crew in my life....

take notice the bats heated up in gm 1, 10th inning.....I hate that extra inning bs (putting a runner on 2nd)

tough to call out the mvp this weekend.....was it Stanley, Powell, or McGillis....

if you like southern miss baseball, you had fun this weekend.... 04-cheers

I agree. The new extra inning rule is absurd. It would be like having the defense in football taking a player off the field every series so the offense can make it easier to score until someone wins. It's bad enough they start at the 20. Just play until somebody wins or make it a tie.

RE: 2021 baseball
Anyone know if we’re looking to schedule a team for this weekend? I know if you can’t get someone with a decent RPI, it’s not worth it, but wasn’t sure if we were searching for someone or just resting.

I dont think there will be any more games until the tourney. Berry said something along those lines, post-game.
