Camera's are on the wrong side of the gym
The railing where ppl can stand and block the view of the cameras needs to be fixed
The away teams exit you have to walk up next to the stands
All are D2 issues that will get ironed out.
TSU reminds me of CSU Bakersfield just a pest and daring refs to blow their whistles but like Bake TSU slowed down as the game went on.
GCU played like garbage but unlike years past a role player stepped up and took care of enough business to get the job done.
I'm not sure I heard the broadcast right but what do they call the TSU student section?
I agree, I do not like the camera location. In previous years, it was on the otherside and faced the student stands rather than the players/coaches benches.
I dont know if this is a Covid thing or a BCG thing.
The Student Section doesn't have a unified name. Technically there is not reserved seating for each organization but everyone has their spot during a normal season, going across your radio dial from Left to Right you would typically have
FOUL PLAY (The Basketball pep band),
The Plowboys (an all male spirit organization dressed in cowboy hats and chaps), then
PANKUS (another spirit org dressed in purple and white overalls or Body Paint) followed by any number of Greek orgs up and down the baseline.
The Purple Poo, a masked organization, act like clowns and walk everywhere during the game to drum up support.
The upper area is the rest of the Students.
The Cheerleaders typically hang out under the basketball.
Covid has made a mess of this.
Your gym only seats 30 people. Are there like 4 people in each of these organizations?
Yep, You got me bruh.
We can't all be Pandamanian Devils or whatever.
You did get me thinking though, correct me if I'm wrong but nmsu (Panamaniacs) and GCU (Havoc) have chosen to brand your student sections with a single name similar to the Cameron Crazies or Izzone.
Is there a common culture, look and feel or is it a fancy name like "The 12th Man"
Dickie V named them the Panamaniacs when he was in town to broadcast a game for NMSU. That name is unofficial and you don’t see it “branded” anywhere. We are also not organized like GCU or maybe some of the things that TSU does.
Two more thoughts. One, Pandamanian Devils is really clever. I like it. Two, I don’t normally pick on a team (my Wisdom gym comments), but you have an arrogant, condescending poster that irks me. I apologize for taking my disdain out on you.

Spring semester has not started and Tarleton is well known as a weekend university (kids bolt when there is no class).
With COVID there will be very few in attendance. Wish you guys could see it when it’s packed out. It really is a nice gym for a home court advantage with the student section 5 ft from the sideline.

I don't doubt TSU has a nice following that attends games. My take away was the building itself and how TSU plays a similar style to old WAC member CSUB, not to mention CSUB has a gym just like yours but with a blue court.

Their gym really reminded me of Pepperdine’s. With the upper and lower level seating with the pull out bleachers.
I wish I could have experienced it in a normal game. Everyone I interacted with was real nice by the way.

Glad to hear. Not to sound cliché but we take hospitality pretty serious. Unless you are a MSU or ACU fan.

True story. If I am tailgating and you come by as a visiting fan, you better believe my pit and cooler are fair game.

It was good to see UVU sweep CBU. I know CBU was without Croy, but they didn't seem to be that good. This was the best that UVU had played all year. I think they have 4 different players that can get 20 (Aimaq, Trey, Evan Cole, and JJ) so spreading the ball around has been paramount for our success.
Looking forward to playing Seattle next weekend. I don't think anyone knows what to expect but just hoping that all teams remain healthy!

I agree. CBU was not very impressive. UVU looks pretty good. But they seem to have a short bench. They mostly just play their starters.

I felt like UVU looked pretty good against BYU early in the season, but BYU is a very good team and it was a very early game so it was hard to tell what they'd could be like 10_games later.
I like the UNLV transfer Woodbury. He's going to be a good one for them. Hes improved a lot since last year.
