Next time, please let us know what sort of rankings you're talking about. Had to google it to find out this pertains to basketball. Pretty much where I expected UTSA to be btw. People are grumbling in our fan base, me being one of them. We've won 13 of our last 42 games against D1 opponents.

Henson's contract extends through the '23-'24 season and his base salary right now is $325K. It'll be interesting to see what we do because after showing so much initial promise in Henson's first 2 or 3 years, things have dropped off significantly. Since I don't have all the figures, I'm not sure whether we can afford to let him go early though after we parted ways with Coach Wilson in football and already lost money there.

IMO NET or NCAA Evaluation Tool is self explanatory.

"NCAA Evaluation Tool", in and of itself, tells me nothing at all. If you're saying NET Rankings are only done for basketball, I sure didn't know that, and I've followed UTSA Basketball since I first enrolled there in 1984. I figured they had NET rankings for other sports too, or maybe even for schools' overall athletics programs as a whole. People post all sorts of different rankings here regularly.

Actually it doesnt seem like SOS plays a large role in the NET

It looks to me like winning % no matter who you win games against and Winning margin (SRS) are the two most important factors

I think Marshall is going to lose quite few on the road. After the dust settles I think WKU will be the clear conference leader going into conference tourney

I disagree. La Tech was always going to be one of our toughest road matchups, and we were able to pick up a road win.

As long as we have Kinsey healthy, we'll be in the thick of it. We have a good Charlotte team coming in this weekend, who found a way to beat WKU. If we can take both games, I think we might have something here.
