Who would have thought that USF baseball would be the last AAC standing.

Our series starts tonight vs #2 Texas and could go same way as ECU’s, but the Bulls have gone further than most expected when picked to finish last in AAC

I’ve seen Tulane and ULL get top 5 national seeds, it can be done.

The conference killed our SOS and RPI this year. The 4 game weekends with no mid-week depleted our regular schedule. ECU was the only American team that finished in the top 75 RPI. By comparison, CUSA had 4 teams in the tournament, 4 top 50. The AAC would've been a 1 bid league if the Pirates had won the conference tourney.

This isn't sour grapes, it's just the facts. Probably like the way everybody else feels about ECU basketball. Hopefully American baseball will be back to normal next year.

You’re right, the conference was not good this year and the 4 game series and no midweek games was an awful idea.

Not gonna be easy. That's a major leaguer on the mound for Texas. Stay close and tire him out.

I'm a long-time Vanderbilt fan, but I will give ECU full credit for a strong season and a quality team. I do agree that the AAC was a bit down in baseball this season. I hope the league bounces back next year.
