This has to be the worst take I've seen regarding this game not being played.

I agree
And that is yalls opinion. I was being over dramatic on purpose. Why even get tested on Thursday? It’s not like the coach was forced to. I know a ton of coaches and they will all tell you the unwritten rule is to not get tested unless you are forced by conference or league affiliation. The game was a go...just don’t get tested at that point.

That's not it. Team tested on Wednesday. Got the results back on Thursday. The positive test was retested on Thursday directly at lab. Positive test was verified.
If true I stand corrected and can admit when I’m wrong. That is not the sequence of events being reported on our end. The team left Thursday after getting the all clear from the SBC.

Make America great again, huh?
What? I’m not being political whatsoever. Look, I have boys that play very competitive high school football and although the coaches here never publicly state this, it’s understood you don’t get tested if/when you catch the sniffles. You just check out of school. Only time teams at the HS level forfeit a game due to Covid is when they know they are about to take an L. To me, something smells really rotten in Denmark...or should I say Conway.

Of course it’s real! It kills the elderly and frail on a daily basis. I haven’t seen any serious cases, god forbid casualties, at the HS/NCAA/NFL level.
