That if we can get ULM/Troy and Coastal/ULL games in, the Sun Belt will stand to be one of the only FBS conference to finish a full league schedule.

Would be an incredible job by the member schools to work together and figure out ways to finish the season. We also will be the only league to have schools who managed to play a 12 game schedule.

SBC really took advantage of the pandemic situation. More signature wins, rankings, national exposure, etc. Now it’s clear, SBC > CUSA. Time to steal Marshall and Southern Miss which would probably force CUSA to add JMU and Liberty.

Boot TX State
Boot ULM
Marshall with Iggles, Black cats, Chickens, Mountain Men
Troy with Arkansas, south bama, southern miss, Cajuns

Strong conference right there.

When you type Arkansas you really should put State right after it. Learned that attitude from our friends in Louisiana.

Texas State is a great member in some other sports, and certainly have potential in football. No reason to boot them.

No reason to boot anyone. ULM could have pulled an ODU this year and didn't. The put all the sports in the field that they could.

I think SBC could become a true SunBelt conference with FL, GA, AL, LA, MS, and TX schools while CUSA would look something like this: Marshall, App State, Coastal, Western KY, MTSU, Ark St, ODU, Charlotte, Liberty, JMU, ... etc

They have a LOT of potential in football. They'll get it rolling at some point.

Does Keith Gill get any credit for us getting these games in? As much as he is MIA in the media, he haS to have some credit for getting us to this point in the season.

I think will has played more of a role in what games have gotten played than many administrations will admit. I'm not sure I buy the Sun Belt got that lucky or just somehow managed it better.
