Anybody going to the game interested in a pre-game bar takeover? They saw there's a BWW close to campus. Also, a place called Heroes. I could do either, but BWW is a familiar place. If so, let's spread the word and take it over!

They usually do pre-game meetups (baseball, basketball) at Heroes. They're relatively close to each other so you can check both of them out if need be.

(Axe-ually my daughter knows all the "important" people setting this up...all I know are IMPOTENT people...I'll try very hard to be circumspect and gentlemanly to my fellow suite-mates------YEAH RIGHT!!!! )

Looks like there's an official tailgate thing at https://lodabeer.com/ down on Dauphin.

Place looks pretty cool, but it's like 20-30 minutes from campus. That's too far away for me.

I'm still planning on Heroes if that's the unofficial place.

If y'all go to Heroes (assuming you're not local) make sure to get the crawfish dip. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. I go there basically just for that, everything else is so-so.
