What the ****? Thundering Turds! Undefeated, #21 Marshall (7-0) getting spanked by 1-2 Rice 20-0, late in the fourth quarter.... in Huntington!

I don’t wish any ill will against Marshall. I want the G5s to have a great year. But how in the hell do you crap in the bed like that against Rice? It’s not like this was a physics debate. It seems like it happens more than it should with the bottom 3 conferences of FBS. A team will have a great season, only to lose to a team they should throttle.

Their QB threw 5 picks. Put that loss on him.
I am not a fan of Marshall so it doesn’t hurt my feelings that they lost.

Five picks didn't help, but Marshall couldn't pass, run (2.9 ypc), or defend. It was a team loss.

Yeah, I think it is pretty clear what the problem was. Their defense was pretty good actually. I wonder how many times a college team has won with the QB throwing 5 picks. It must have happened at least once in history.

Teams have won plenty of times averaging 3 yards per rush. You just can’t give the opponent the ball 5 times and have any chance to win.
Put that one on the QB for sure and take the Thundering Herd out of the top 25.

Doc didn’t have this team prepared at all. He’s good for at least one per year. We got away from the run and Grant Wells sucked arse. We “Doc’d” it for sure.

I have to find a way to get to a game at West Point. This is the first time Navy has played there since WWII and it is awesome.

I don’t think JMU had played Army, but I know they are 2-1 against Navy.

Army is wearing the patch of the 25th Infantry Division on their helmets, my old unit. I love it!

Anyone else watching Carolina-Miami? With four minutes left, Carolina has nearly 800 yards of offense, 549 yards rushing. Just DAMN!

So, Carolina hung 62 points on the #10 team in the nation? Really?

Ape State and Ga Southern all tied in the third quarter, 17-all. The announcers keep talking about what rivals App and GSU are. App used to be our rival.

We have been left in the dust.

Would have been quarterfinal weekend this weekend. I imagine last night a seeded JMU would have been hosting, as was the case for the Fri night ESPN qtr final game 2016 (SHSU), 2017 (Weber), 2019 (UNI)...

Yes, thank you Purple. My grandfather and uncle were both Army. My uncle fought in The Battle of the Bulge. It is a blessing he survived. He is 95 now.

God bless the patriots in your family and across our country. At no other time in the history of our nation are patriots more needed than now.

My grandfather fought the Germans in France in WWI. I remember the German Gatling gun wounds across his hands. My father fought the Japanese as a 16-year-old Marine in the South Pacific during WWII in such nasty places as Guadalcanal and Bougainville.

We truly don't know how lucky we are and how close we are to losing it all. May God bless us all.

Holy cow! LSU (3-5) just kicked a 57-yard field goal against #6 Florida with 17 seconds left to take down the Gators 37-34. Crazy year!

BDUs were just coming in, but we were still wearing jungle fatigues which I preferred. Never a better uniform for the tropics. BDUs were heavy and hot. Jungles were light and cool.
