Xavier definitely has an advantage of several more games played at this early stage of the season but by golly, they haven't played a team yet this season that is athletic and the defense that UC trains under. Should be interesting game. Not the end of the world since it's not a conference game. If UC knocks them off, I'm sure it won't be a mad frenzy on the floor. Hopefully both teams play fair and nobody gets hurt. A couple of the xu players seem to have a hot temper so hopefully the refs can hold it together.

If I had to guess, X comes out hot and builds a big lead. Takes a decent lead into half. Then UC cuts it to one possession by the under 8 timeout in the second half. After that who knows.

I wonder how much of the game we don't see with the Nova/Texas game likely running over.

They play zero D and don’t protect the ball. If this one is a nail biter I may have some legit concerns about the season.

My guess is DD settles our guys down and Monster Vogt has a big, consistent day opening things up on the outside. We're eager to prove we belong and avenge last year's loss. I don't see a typical Egg's blitz from three today.

We have no big men with strong hands. They're all really weak at grabbing the ball.

Cats need to figure who can play defense and rebound.

So far not a D exhibition by either team. Looks like the YMCA with all the open drives.
