For the record, I’m a white, conservative, Christian male. I fit the exact demographic politically that they enjoy great support from.

My dislike for them is extremely valid, and I could write a book about it here, but it’s not the right forum for it.

They’re a joke. Plain and simple.

And what “valid reason” does GS have for disliking App? Just curious.

They may be, but it just goes to show how good of a coach Hugh Freeze is. Interestingly enough, I know LU and Hugh Freeze gets heavily mocked for their "christian zionism" (which is actually an oxymoron, and incorrect use of zionism but I digress) , but also too does Jamey Chadwell. This is what I've noticed on other boards not named LU or CCU. To me that is a shame, because they're both some of my favorite coaches out there. I love their style of play and will follow them wherever they may coach. I personally like their "christian zionism" and hope they remain strong enough to continue and not be dismayed by their critics.

As for App, I personally do not dislike App. They've earned my respect and I thoroughly enjoy playing them. Their fans are also pretty knowledgeable and easy going. That's just me though. If I had to put my finger on it, the majority of the dislike is purely emotional. The truth of the matter is, they're more consistent than we are and get more publicity than we do. That's putting it bluntly. I think any GS fan, if they're honest, would admit this.

That's awesome, guys. Congrats on your well-deserved honor. I think I'm gonna tune in to watch this one to see how it goes. Must say though I'm a little surprised by the line which has Liberty as 10.5 dogs the last time I checked. ESPN's Matchup Predictor even has Coastal at 80.1%. I would say that Coastal Carolina's schedule was tougher, but only by a slim margin, so I think those numbers are surprising considering Liberty's only loss of the year was 15-14 at 7-3 NC State. At any rate, this will be an interesting one.

While you’re complimenting App, don’t forget to mention that Boone doesn’t have a stinky sewage creek running through it like Statesboro!!

CCU might have had something similar to Beautiful Eagle Creek™, but thank goodness someone had the good sense to put a dam at one end and leave us with the Wall Pond.
