Coastal Carolina versus Liberty (both ranked) But Now CXLD
This isn't of course the Playoff Rankings Poll that matters most but at least this will be a matchup of ranked teams (depending on how you define a ranked matchup) since Liberty has re-emerged as #25 in the Coaches Poll against #14 Coastal Carolina. Will at least be a game of viewing interest no matter what

RE: Coastal Carolina versus Liberty (both ranked)
With the Win, Coastal will become the first Sun Belt team to ever start a season 10-0, simultaneously setting the record for most consecutive wins by a Sun Belt team. In addition, this would be a major step forward in the chase for the G5 access spot if Cincy screws up in the AAC Title game.

That's quite possible. They still have to play the game on Saturday first but if that happens then yes Coastal will have achieved something even more noteworthy than what they have already accomplished this year with more opportunities to continue to move upwards in the Playoff Rankings. This is already an incredible dream season for Coastal no matter how they finish out the season...hopefully they will close the season out hard!
The game against Liberty will be interesting to see how both teams respond to each other (they also have a not so distant past history with each other in FCS). I'm expecting a very tough competitive game for both sides.

Liberty’s QB will be the best we’ve faced all year. Top notch receivers. We need to bring our A game on offense, I think LU will get some points up.

I hear that College Game Day is coming to Coastal Carolina this week? If true...that's awesome...great publicity for Coastal Carolina/Sun Belt and by extension Liberty as well. And oops...I see that this is already covered in another thread. Nevertheless...Great for the Sunbelt and the resumption of the Coastal Carolina / Liberty Rivalry....but at the FBS Level! This is fantastic on all levels

Same with y’all. I think it will be a shoot out but I think the Flames win it 35-31.

RE: Coastal Carolina versus Liberty (both ranked)
Of course I’m picking my team in a close one...
38 Liberty
35 Coastal
This could be our bowl game! I saw the latest article that said a 10-1 or 9-2 Liberty may not receive a bowl bid this year due to the COVID-19 rule that allows non-winning football teams to play in bowl games.

Gotcyha... U are optimistically projecting a 50/50 chance for your team to come outta this matchup with a "W". I won't rule it out but I'd definitely be delighted to put $100 up for a straight up 'Chantz win in this game (no points, just a straight up ass kicking) with the caveat being the loser donates the $100 to the non-profit charity of the winner's chosing - DOCUMENTED and shared proof posted to this thread. Deal? GO BEACH CHIKKENZ AND THE SBC!!!$$$

Ya sure brother? If CC wins your $100 would go to one of the disabled veterans organizations. Just an FYI...

Does anyone know why the Line jumped 3 points this morning? It has been sitting at -7 since it came out and swung to -10 this morning.

Ouch that would hurt us. The backup is pretty good but not near as mobile.
