Prediction, Preview and Odds
Troy has more talent at their disposal than UNC Wilmington along with a more rested roster. UNC Wilmington played two games on the season already and had to do so with nine players in one game and eight in the other. Meanwhile, Troy only played yesterday after having their opening game canceled against Middle Georgia State (Covid-19). Kam Woods might not have 20 points again, but expect him to have another great day as he will continue to receive more playing time and more designed plays to give him open shots. Troy should win this game and they might pull away at the end as well.

Prediction: Troy -1

Kenpom has UNCW by 1.

Vegas has us by 1 with the over/under at 148.

This one seems interesting to me. WCU blew us off the court. Troy kept it close with WCU and pulled out the win. Seems like Troy favors a slower, half court game. If that’s the case, we’ll have to run them and impose our game.

If they have any size whatsoever we may be in trouble. To me, Boggs is only a matchup problem at the 5 with teams like Asheville that roll out 4-5 guards. If they have a couple PFs that can push him around it’ll hurt. If the have size in the interior than our defense (or lack of it) will be obvious.

Hope they play a tough and FAST PACED 40 minutes.

After the last game and seeing the WCU/Troy stats, I’m going to say Troy and the under.

Hoping it’ll be like the last call I made and work the reversal.

ESPN went from showing us by 1 to Troy by 2. And I'm pretty sure that's Vegas odds.

Three Man Weave has Troy finishing 11th in a competitive Sun Belt. They’re a rebuilding team that is believed to have brought in a very solid recruiting class this year.

They looked pretty good from what I saw in their win over WCU. I’d describe them as “plucky”. Not a great team at finishing around the rim, but that could easily be something they do well against us given our struggles inside.

Scott Cross is a good coach. Had a good run at UT-Arlington before being fired. Most considered it an unjust move by the university considering it was after 3 20+ win seasons in a row.

Crappy start. Can't finish on easy buckets. Really disappointed in the play of Okauru since he's been here.

Did Boggs not start???

If the old Ty starts knocking down three's, we're going to be tough to beat. Seems it's contagious, with Okauru hitting now too.

Also, Dodd doing a great job on D and bringing some toughness to the paint on the boards.

What's up with Boggs though?
