So despite the coaching change, Drexel is still considered to be among the mid-major elites.

Drexel is ranked 15th in the first ranking. JMU is 5th. Towson is the only other CAA team to receive votes.

Sean O is the CAA representative on the voting panel.

what do you think will be different with the program under amy mallon?

i'd like to see us go a different direction with recruiting. the pcl connection kept us in the mix but left us vulnerable to bigger and more athletic teams. i saw a jmu recruit in high school last year and she would easily be our biggest player this year. she also shot threes and ran the floor. we would be set if we even had one of those. marginean played bigger mostly because she could get to the line.

i did...twice. 5a girls had our local school district in it so i was following until everything got shut down. she had a tendency to shoot too many threes and unfortunately if i'm reading her stat line right from 11/25 that carried over into college. 0-9 and 0-8 from three.

I do not see any drastic changes. We definitely need size. Size has given us fits forever.

Drexel is up to 13th in the poll. JMU is 8th. Towson and Delaware received votes.

Coach Weiss mentioned during the Zoom meeting last night that one of their goals as a program is to get into the top 10 and consistently stay there. They want to continue to be considered a mid-major elite program.
