Christmas not on the floor for warm-ups per Mettlen. Maybe he's the COVID player, but we still don't know about the other 2 who are injured based off the news we have 10 available today.

Livestats currently has JMU starting line-up as

G - Lewis
G - Morse
G- Edwards
F - Wooden
F - Mensah

You have to think freshman Edwards is filling in as a starter. We’ll find out soon which 3 players are out as you indicated Christmas is one of them.

Shane tweeted that it looks like Christmas is the guy who wasn’t dressed and is the undisclosed injured player. I hope he can recover soon and take over that spot.

Watching the game on Flo. The new arena looks incredible.
I didn't even consider the affect the arena would have with the presentation prior to the game. They brought the lights down and it looked like the whole arena was pulsing with dark purple light. Very cool!
Hopefully our team can live up to the quality of our new arena.

Just something that bears watching this season. Connection between women’s and men’s team. A couple of guys on the men’s team date girls on the women’s team- could have an impact with Covid in terms of contact tracing, spread etc.

First JMU player to score at UABC- Mensah. Made both free throws.

Taking everything with a grain of salt today, but our team actually looks like a TEAM. Playing solid defense, and making a strong effort to get to the basket and drawing fouls.

8-6 JMU.

The UVA Orthopedics court lettering is small. It is still embarrassing when it comes into focus during free throws.

JMU doing a good job of forcing turnovers. Limestone has turned the ball over 6 times.
Also JMU doing so much better so far not being careless with the ball and not turning the ball over.
Limestone has only made 1 2-pointer.

So no Fredericks or Taylor -- call them the two injured...?

While I do find it a bit amusing that the floor is advertising UVA, I would think most people won't even notice (I wouldn't have it you weren't pointing it out). At least from an outsider's perspective, this floor is much less embarrassing that what the Convocation Center was sporting.

Definitely a nice looking arena.
