I figured we were finished when the Jags number 2 QB came in. We know how to make those guys look good.

That was their #4 quarterback

Backup opted out pre season and their 3rd string is hurt.

On the bright side, we likely kept Steve Campbell gainfully employed for another season...

We win so seldom that we really do not know how to act when congratulated. But thank you very much.

Are you sure you want to thank us? We probably just extended Campbell’s stay in Mobile for another year.

We also locked up second in the division, probably some sort of bonus for him for that.

With one game remaining against Troy, through three seasons Coach Campbell is 1-14 against App State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Louisiana, Troy, and ULM.
GSU 0-2
GS 0-3
APP 0-2
TROY 0-2
Louisiana 0-3
ULM 1-2

1-1 against Coastal Carolina
CCU 1-1

And 4-2 against TXST and Arkansas State.
TXST 2-1
ASU 2-1

We’ll take the win, but we need to start beating other teams in conference.

All that does is show how bad the Big 12 really is.

I see this as the worst possible outcome. South is probably stuck with Campbell for another year and everyone knows we won't fire Anderson so both programs are doomed to more of the same next year. So I guess I'll say congratulations to South and I'm sorry in the same sentence.
