From my understanding, he was getting about $650,000 at Buffalo. Les Miles was getting $3.5 million, so it's a safe bet Kansas will offer > $3 mil, especially since they didn't have to pay a buyout to get rid of Miles.

No word on his contract at Kansas but his buyout at Buffalo was only 600K. If I had to guess I assume Kansas also paid for the Les Miles name since he was the HC at LSU for 11 years. I would put an educated guess that they get Leipold for less. Maybe 2.5-3 million a year.
