Is it just me or is anyone else thinking football may come to a halt soon? I hope I'm wrong on this!

My top 6.
Man, this was so darn complicated to come up with.

1. Alabama
2. Notre Dame
3. Ohio State
4. Texas A&M

5. Clemson
6. Cincinnati

Florida, Oklahoma State, Miami, Northwestern, Indiana, San Jose State and Coastal Carolina are making things interesting along with a few others.

The first half I saw a team engaged and having fun kicking the sh!t out of a team that wasn't.
2nd half- at least Penn State is showing a pulse, I guess?

Congratulations to the Big Tens first place team, the Indiana Hoosiers!

Nice defensive stance for Nebraska to end the game and secure the victory.

I'm pretty sure Peyton Ramsey has been playing college football for 15 years now.

It’s over for both Penn State and Michigan.

Although you're right Harbaugh will try to salvage something out of the year vs OSU, so they've got that going for them, if the season still exists.

I don't think it does. That Michigan team last night looked worse than anything RichRod or Hoke put on the field. I think that team has given up.

I would take Rutgers and the points this weekend.

Truthfully, I think you're spot on. Michigan always had tremendous talent in the past and it seems pretty thin right now. Add the fact that the rivalry is in Harbaugh's head so deep that I wonder if even he thinks they can compete. One thing that, in a normal year, would get a Power 5 coach canned is having a team quit on him. Some of those guys at times appear as though they are looking for a soft place to land.

I don't think you guys understand the amount of talent at Michigan right now, it's unbelievably high! Their problem is the lack of talent at the coaching positions. They have no ability to transition 4/5 ☆ recruits from high school level to college level.

It's hard for me to swallow that Don Brown would struggle to transition athletes although I know that the mere name Michigan will attract great kids. I don't know enough about their individual personnel to question your statement on the talent level so perhaps it's an oversimplification but for them to struggle that much with great talent it seems to boil down to either a bad scheme or the rest of the defensive staff being lacking. I just don't see Don Browns scheme being at fault. What am I missing?

You like Don Browns scheme? The man hasn't a clue on how to adjust during a game. Hangs his hat on QB sacks and pressure. Everyone has caught on to his scheme and lack of adjustment and can just "dink and dunk" as they wish all game long.

Another factor is QB development. That's on Big Jim and he should have had a recruited QB be a star by now. Like the link I shared says too, he's been making promises to recruits and keeping those promises even though they are not what's best for the team.

Look at it this way. I know what they say about assumptions but if any of Dabo, Ryan Day, Saban or Paul Chryst and their staff had this Michigan team, would they be 1-3? I'm 99.9% sure the answer is no!

I'll confess that I liked it better when Greg Mattison was there. I also doubt that any of the coaches you mentioned would be 1-3, but I'm not a Jim Harbaugh guy.
