I agree, that was an inspirational come back. As far as his long term health and quality of life, I think he made the right move for him and his family.

I was really glad to see that WFT did not draft a QB, and I think the price will be too high for them to trade for Rodgers if he does go on the market. Right now, I will not be surprised to see TH starting before the season is over.

TH's high school is retiring his jersey

The Collins Hill football program will host the inaugural Taylor Heinicke Collins Hill Football Golf Tournament on July 12 at Bear’s Best Golf Course in Suwanee.

The event, a fundraiser for the Eagles’ football program, is named in honor of Heinicke, a quarterback with the NFL’s Washington Football Team. Heinicke will have his Collins Hill jersey retired during a luncheon after the tourney, which begins with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

RE: Taylor Heinicke
Mark your calendars, Monarchs fans.

September 16th: In Washington, at the Giants three yard line, Heinicke fakes to Gibson, Ximines goes for the fake, and Heinicke goes around him for the winning TD.

January 9th: In New York, at the WFT thirty-five yard line, Heinicke scrambles out of the pocket, Ximenes gets the sack, Heinicke fumbles and Ximines picks it up and runs it in for the winning TD.

Old Dominion on display and mentioned 17 times during the two games. Yeeha! Hey, it could happen!

He did suffer a bit of a sophomore slump. I think he is minimally good enough to be a back up and if he worked har din the off season, I feel he could be the starter.

It's clear that the Giants have taken steps to improve on the edge, but in my opinion, the biggest question mark for OX is how he comes back from his shoulder injury. If he is 100% and ready to go, I think he will hold his on in training camp and stick with the team even if he is not a starter. Here's wishing the best for the X-man.

His saving grace is the Giants lack of depth on the edge.

The kid from GA is going to be a beast so hes gonna be splitting time at a minimum this year.

I remember when RG3 was gonna do the same thing. For at least a decade.

He's a lock to make the team IMO. 3rd round pick two years ago and had 4.5 sacks as a rookie (on a really bad team). Last year he took a step back and looked slow before landing on season ending IR. Maybe he came in to camp already hurt and tried to play through it? We'll see.

Also, to say on topic - TH is on the WTF.

I hope this guy is 100% right!!! IF TH can stay healthy and upright, he has every chance to make the WFT his team.

RE: Taylor Heinicke
We've had some great QB's at ODU. Taylor is obviously the best but I'm a big fan of Demarco, Washington and LaRussa.

It's pretty amazing that Taylor went from St. Louis Battle Hawk non starter to Mr. WFT. The lesson is never give up on a dream and always be ready for opportunity.
