Your source is not very good.

Or, and hear me out, Hall was one of the ones willing to commit earlier. It’s almost like we interviewed more than one person.

Well, we weren't waiting until end of December. Couldnt afford to do that. Either way, I think its a good (enough) hire. He will do better than Hop, no doubt. He is good enough to win this conference. Im expecting that recruiting will be the best its been since the Fedora years. No more battling Alabama St, Lamar, Nicholls, ULM and Mcneese for recruits. We will finally get the MS players we should instead of losing them to South Alabama, ULL, La Tech and the like. As well as battle Tulane, Memphis., etc., and some P5 schools for players.

I can live with Hall as the coach its seems like a good fit and he's a good recruiter as well. Its a run first offense so its not flashy, but he scores points.

Are you saying he will recruit better than Monken. We had a lot of NFL players under Monken.

I think he will recruit much better than Monken. Monken's classes werent that strong. It was only when he finally went the Juco and transfer route that he started winning. dont get me wrong, I love Monken. But I think Hall will get better recruits. Monk prob barely took a walk in MS before coming here. Hall will mop up, in comparison.
