Maybe Minnesota can get some of that flex tape stuff to patch their sinking boat.
It's the COV-D virus. No Coverage and No Defense. It has destroyed the PAC, crippled the Big 12, and has now infected both the SEC and Big 10. It's unnoticeable in most of the ACC because they also suffer from the dreaded H0N1S virus (Have zero offense and not 1 surprise). It perfectly masks the COV-D virus's symptoms.
I'd say recovery is possible but so far nobody in the PAC or Big 12 have done so.

The best kids who have the option to play offense or defense want to play offense because that gets them noticed and pays more in the NFL. The high school coaches put the best players on offense to score as many points as possible. The colleges do the same thing in addition to needing a "cool" offense to attract all the top recruits and get more fans in the stands. Unfortunately, it seems success is measured by entertainment factor rather than winning.

Going Big Ten games only. I guess I like all the visiting teams!

RE: Open Thread - CFB - Oct. 29-31
Game notes:
Michigan State/Michigan: The numbers don't lie, no excuses for Michigan as they were beaten by a better team Saturday. It is ridiculous for Michigan to constantly lose these games with the talent on their roster.
Indiana/Rutgers: Indiana is solid, not great, but a really good team. Rutgers has greatly improved! Three interceptions in this game destroyed them.
Purdue/Illinois: Congratulations to Purdue on being 2-0. Boilermakers better find a running game and tighten up that defense.
Northwestern/Iowa: Crazy seeing Iowa 0-2. Both defenses played great and turnovers were plenty in this game.
Ohio State/Penn State: Like Iowa, crazy to see Penn State at 0-2. Not a bad looking team at all. Ohio State offensive and defensive lines looked really good.
