Liberty vs. Off Week
Hopefully with an extra week off, our top two receivers will come back. What are some other benefits... than extra time to game plan?

Should get ranked without having to play.

I doubt it. I just don’t see us getting ranked unless we beat Va. Tech... and rightfully so.

Who are you referencing when you say top 2 receivers?

Noah Frith said after the game that he would be expects to be ready to go for VT. He dressed out for the USM game and went through pre-game warmups and looked good, but was not available to play. CJ Yarbrough was on the field Saturday, but did not look 100%.

RE: Liberty vs. Off Week
I'm hoping we'll have Tim Kidd-Glass, Emmanuel Dabney, and Josh Mack back for Tech. Kidd-Glass gives us some ACC talent in the secondary against Tech. A full strength Dabney and Mack speaks for themselves. As does have Yarborough and Frith back as well.

Losing Sings for a half will hurt. I'm not sure how much he's actually playing, but he's good and pretty fast too. These targeting calls are pretty lame. They definitely should be appealable when the occur in the second half or at least just be for the remainder of the game.

Eh, if a few games go the right way, voters will be faced with the choice of keeping us out until we beat Tech, or ranking us ahead of the Tech game so that if they beat us, they can put a P5 back in the Top 25. Both are tempting, but there has been more than one occasion in which voters have gone the second route, if I remember correctly.

You sure you guys don't wanna take FIU's place? We can have ourselves a Battle of the Unbeatens.

And the biggest issue, even if they were all equally talented, without Frith and Yarbrough we don't have any true wide-outs, just slot receivers.

I’d sign up for it. Would be an easy sell to a big network.

I think this is our only bye week the rest of the season since we started 9/26 and added UMass.

Looks like we didn’t beat the off week. Auburn should move into the Top 25 with their win. I guess we could sneak in, but I doubt it.
