the MAC's biggest problem is that it's lost it money / buy games - conference games only will be a financial hit, but, politically, it probably has to play - the MAC be f*ed here

You know, I'm proud as heck of the AAC for having the balls to stand up say yes. I thought for sure they'd cave in and go full lemming on us.

Yeah, but the biggest expenses by far are scholarships and coaching salaries. Those are fixed costs.

Actually playing the games is a drop in the bucket by comparison. May as well play and at least pocket a few hundred grand in TV money.
