Expecting lots of rain for the game. Don't know if this favors either team but we'll see.

I think rain favors UAB with our stable of RBs...if our OLine can open some holes.

You thinks, me thinks. I think USA has a good chance to beat Alabama-Birmingham and will not be surprised to see it. Go Jags!

Troy fans like to use UA's B team. You're welcome to use that as well. 05-stirthepot

Excuse my ignorance, but why is "Alabama-Birmingham" a dig? That is the name of the school, ain't it?

My guess would be, it's the same as LaTech fans saying "Louisiana-Lafayette".

There is NO rain forecast for tonight's game when the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers visit the Port City.

Oh, I apologize. The University of ALABAMA at Birmingham. Now how's that for originality? Has a nice ring to it when you add "Blazers".

https://www.uab.edu/toolkit/brand-basics...tyle-guide

UAB, UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA SYSTEM

The official names of the members of the University of Alabama System are The University of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Alabama in Huntsville. "University" is lowercase unless in a specific title.

For University of Alabama at Birmingham, use UAB or the university on second reference: She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She loved the university, and recommended UAB to her friends.

For The University of Alabama, located in Tuscaloosa, use UA or the university on second reference — not UAT or Alabama.

For University of Alabama in Huntsville, use UAH or the university on second reference.

With the game being dry and less humid than our game vs Tulane, there should be less fumbles on this game.

We get called Louisiana Tech, La Tech, Tech, LTU...that's about it. None of those bother me. But then I am not so insecure to feel the need to be defensive, offended. I suppose if someone is trying to be a smart azz I just consider the source and ignore it.

Go Dawgs!

...or Dogs, or Bulldogs.
