Aside from the lack of discipline, good win, UAB. You'll probably beat us by a couple touchdowns next weekend.

UAB, UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA SYSTEM
The official names of the members of the University of Alabama System are The University of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Alabama in Huntsville. "University" is lowercase unless in a specific title.
For University of Alabama at Birmingham, use UAB or the university on second reference: She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She loved the university, and recommended UAB to her friends.
For The University of Alabama, located in Tuscaloosa, use UA or the university on second reference — not UAT or Alabama.
For University of Alabama in Huntsville, use UAH or the university on second reference.
So, this "University of Alabama" flagship part is what is totally different from the ULL situation in Louisiana. The state of Alabama has a "University of Alabama" flagship school, and every "subsidiary" school is the University of Alabama at _(fill in the blank)_.
In Louisiana, there is no "University of Louisiana" flagship school or campus, like there is at the U of A campus in Alabama in Tuscaloosa. There's only the U of L system, and every school is a subsidiary of the system. All 3(?) of the U of L schools are recognized as the University of Louisiana at _(fill in the blank)_. Hence ULM, ULL, etc...all have equal status. There is no flagship school, like there is in Alabama.

UA's B is basically the satellite campus and UAT is the main campus.

You are precisely wrong. UAB was a satellite campus...until it became an autonomous university over 50 years ago. UAT is not the “main” campus of anything. There is a Board of Trustees that oversee the three separate universities in the University of Alabama System: UAT, UAB, & UAH
When UAB fans get riled up, it’s at the BOT not UAT. Frankly, we don’t give a rip about UAT...what they do on their campus has nothing to do with ours and vice-versa. The BOT has more UAT grads and funnels more money to UAT, but that’s BOT corruption...not UAT.
UAB has 23,000 undergraduate students and 10 (last I checked...could be more now) dorms. Way past the days of being a “commuter” school. In fact, I think freshmen are required to live on campus unless they request a waiver.

UAB rakes in far more $ for the U of A system than Tuscaloosa does and it’s not even close. UAB was born a satellite school but now is a campus more than capable of sustaining itself. Unless you’ve lived under a rock the past 60 years, everything I’ve said is pretty obvious.

Sounds similar to UC and UCLA. I unfortunately doubt UTSA will ever approach UT. I don't think that UT would be willing to allow their smaller system schools to rival them.
Alabama needs to keep their hands off your football program though. Hope that situation has resolved itself.

You thinks, me thinks. I think USA has a good chance to beat Alabama-Birmingham and will not be surprised to see it. Go Jags!
This didn't age well.

Probably about the same you do every year.

Did not expect a blowout win, but very happy for the dominating win. Just need to cut out the stupid penalties. We have the talent to be a scary team. Our offense can be scary with Brown at running back and Watkins catching deep balls.

Southern Miss coach gets fired for losing to USA. Tulane's coach get's an extension for coming back to beat USA. What will Bill Clark get for a beat down of USA? Lifetime contract? Power 5 HC job?
When we had Bill Clark and coach Vincent, we used to have that bad character moments at the worst times that did cost us games. Those penalties are going to cost UAB games.
