RE: AAC switching to a 20 game conference Schedule (full round robin)
I feel like this is bad for the league and at large bids. Also fail to see how this mitigates covid risk.

Our non con schedules under Haith have consistently been dog crap and we haven’t even performed admirable against that dog crap. Biggest reason why Haith has done so well in conference yet has only made (by the skin of his teeth) one NCAA tournament and was more likely than not going to miss out on last season’s NCAA tourney if it hadn’t been canceled even though we finished in a tie for first in the conference.
We really, really, really have to learn how to win non-conference games that we should win.
What measuring contest? It's just Pesik being Pesik and screaming that he knows more about every team than they do. It's the same thing I can probably go back 5 years and find the same **** and Pesik getting told to shut up by Memphis, Cincinnati, UConn, Temple, ECU, Tulane, UCF, USF, SMU, and Houston fans.
I already said our ooc was meh, below average, not good. I agree the bigger issue has been our inability to win. We needed a win maybe two in the tourney to get in last year. Mostly because we crapped our ooc.
We probably needed to get to the championship game.
what? you were barely in the on NIT bracketology i was checking (a very low seed), 2 games wasnt going to getting you guys in or close, you guys had a net of 78 without the help of p5 bias

It doesn't mitigate Covid risk, but I don't think that was the objective. Instead, it was to ensure that AAC teams could play more games, with many OOC games being canceled. Most other major conferences are doing the same thing.

It depended on who we played in the rounds. We had SMU to begin with I believe, who would have been a decent win and then I think we would have seen Memphis again. (Don't quite remember) In any case, Frank's terrible in tournaments so I don't think he would have gotten in anyway. It was really a let down to end the season when we lost to Wichita away.

This. It's easier to shuffle cancellations around within a conference as well.
