Why is the Coaches Poll adding in the Big 10 when they won't be playing for 5 weeks?

Because if AAC teams keep running up scores, they would climb quite high before the BIG 10 could get in to try and keep our champ from getting in. Just imagine SMU getting ranked, all of them running up the scores. If someone emerges from the AAC undefeated they would have three or four high ranked wins under their belt, far more data points, that's a recipe for us to sneak in.

The AP keeping them out is a positive, we'll see how much that keeps some of the schools from getting pushed down.

Cincy playing that Army game and winning will be helpful especially since I expect Army to rack up wins till Navy.

In fairness, including Big10 now isnt truly any different from including SEC now. Haven't played yet but will.

That's a fair point. Honestly going to be hard to rank them when teams will have had 5-6 games under their belt when the B1G plays their first. They definitely need to be ranked accordingly (playing from behind).

All UCF can do is root for GTech and hopefully they upset some of these ranked ACC teams.

Dream scenario is that they pull out a miracle and beat Clemson. Too bad UNC ducked us.

Minor difference, the SEC never canceled fall football.

Minor difference, Alabama has actually played and the SEC never canceled fall football.

You know it a rivarlry when people notice the little milestone vs your rival. With today's AP ranking, UCF moved past USF in all time weeks in AP top 25.

Pretty shocked to see that having 6 conference championships only places us at 89th?
