The week 4 lines aren't out yet, but if you use Sagarin as an early predictor, USF is going to be ~ a 14 point dog at FAU. Yuck.

That being said, I predict USF will AT THE LEAST cover that spread, and I'm at least cautiously optimistic that we can go down there and win. Taggart and DC Leavitt coach notoriously undisciplined teams. FAU lost their all-everything QB to a disciplinary dismissal, so their starting QB will have thrown no more than 22 total career passes, their most experienced receiver will have 38 catches, they've missed practice time to COVID and haven't yet played a game while USF has now played twice and has averaged only 4.5 penalties a game (which is WAY down after the lack of discipline that has been a hallmark of our team under every other coaching regime - suggesting they're listening to the new staff).

I think UCF will win comfortably and big but I still worry a bit about going from a 330 pm nationally televised matchup with GT to a noon matchup with ECU, no fans in the stands, and televised on ESPN+.

Hope they can keep the same focus. If so then this game will be over by halftime again.

So much of the AState/Tulsa line is going to come down to how many players we have out. We had 20 out for Kansas State, would have had 25 out for UCA, so we postponed. If there are no further Covid positives, about half of those 25 will return for Tulsa.

If we get any more positives, the game probably doesn't get played anyway. Considering we've sold roughly 12K tickets for this, We'd rather it get played.

Our offense is better than Georgia Techs imo. We showed flashes last year of offensively being able to keep up with anyone in this league. Having said that UCF is a well oiked machine. I could see is keeping it competitive or losing by 35.

IDK what ECU did to prepare for UC last year, but that offense looked unstoppable lol. If I remember correctly that one receiver had like 300 yards. I think it will end up being a shootout between you two. The one huge advantage UCF has is they played a game against decent competition while ECU hasnt

CJ Johnson was a true Fr WR from Greenville and a bigtime recruit. As talented as any player in this league. We looked the same vs SMU btw, young offense with skill. Now a year older and more talent and depth at TE/RB.

It was 28-21 for less than a minute. Thanks for the contribution though.

You offense is probably better. Your defense is far, far worse.

I could see a 56-28 type game. Our defense really turned it on after some early gitters and the DLine was getting to Sims a lot.

Army at Cincy is the most intriguing.

Army has played and destroyed 2 FBS teams now, while Cincy had a glorified scrimmage against a helpless Austin Peay. Army held the ball for 38 minutes last game.

Is the Houston line the number of hours before kickoff the game is cancelled? Lets go 5 for 5, pals.

New defensive coordinator so we could actually be worse than last year or better than last year. We will be improved offensively. Let’s tee it up and let the game play out. Personally, I think we are only one year away from competing in the top half of this conference. Looking forward to how this season plays out and the improvements start to rise to the top.

The Battle for the Bell might be the best "bad game" of the week.

Tulane's possible starting QB transferred from USM.

USM's QB was a Tulane decommit.

The schools are like a stone's throw away.

Line is -3, making USM a dangerous "home dog".

USM is 0-2, and cannot go 0-3 if they have bowl hopes. They are desperate.

Tulane are 1-1, but had a historic implosion on ABC. UH and SMU are coming soon so there is zero margin for error.

I feel like this is the game that tells you everything about 2020 Tulane football. It's a big time character check.
