MTSU: 0-2 - Look really weak so far this year, outscored 89-14 in their first two games against Army and Troy.
UTSA: 2-0 - Still struggling as we've outscored Texas State and SFA by a cumulative 75-58.

** Funny side note: On the MTSU Rivals Fan Forum, they're apparently under the impression that our two wins so far are "over SFA and something called incarnate word". And then someone else chimed in with some info about Incarnate Word. Hope they're able to get their confusion cleared up.

Looks like one of our moderators changed the look of my thread's title to fit the rest of the game-day threads. Fair enough I guess. Might wanna count those notorious asterisks more carefully when you're forcing conformity though.

Can one of you two have a Covid outbreak...I mean is it right to subject the country during a pandemic to MTSU football?

I know you think you are being funny but suggesting players become ill with a virus that could be deadly within the program or career ending is sickening itself.

For decades, I dreamed of Middle Tennessee obtaining LIVE PRIMETIME TV coverage in FB. Our former President James Walker (a visionary leader) always said "Athletics is the Front Porch" of the mansion we call MTSU. Now I'm just praying we don't embarrass and humiliate our university for a third straight game on TV before a national audience. We are making the "mansion" look like an "outhouse".

This has now been declared a conference game by CUSA.

This needs a bump. Hoping for a good game tonight. Decided to watch this one in person. Crowd was very sparse for our home opener. Not sure what to expect tonight, both from the crowd and team.

Our offense has leaned heavily on the running ability and short yardage passing accuracy of QB Frank Harris and on dynamic plays from our starting RB Sincere McCormick. We've been without some key receivers and linemen due to quarantine/contact tracing policies. Some are returning tonight.

Our D appears to be a 3-4-4 or 3-3-5 under this staff. DT Jaylon Haynes has had a great start to the season (3 sacks, 5 TFL) and I expect him to get NFL looks if he continues with this production. Another interesting player is CB Tariq Woolen, a 6' 5'' former wide receiver who made the transition to CB late last season and has made big plays in the secondary during our first 2 games.

Thankful that this game was able to be scheduled. We were supposed to be playing Memphis tonight but that was cancelled late last week. Our administration has done a great job on filling our schedule. Here's to a great game. Birds up!

One other thing I wanted to mention. We currently have 25 players from the San Antonio area on our roster, including a number of starters: QB, RB1 and RB2, RT, DT,SS, place kicker, and a number of others on the 2-deep. This current staff has really emphasized recruiting San Antonio, which I think is great for building a stronger connection to the city. This strategy needs to be cemented with wins. Let's see what happens.

Of all the times that EmptySue has to **** the bed it has to be when ODU is not playing We will never get that win and Mr. Peanut will never get to stay close to the beach. In a way i feel sorry for you folks. May be you'll get rid of Stockstill this way.

Just a thought, but if MT's offensive players would stop running BACKWARDS they wouldn't be punting the ball to about where their drive began.

O'Hara is a liability. The kid can't decide whether to throw the ball or run it, winds up taking a 7 yard sack (because he is slow) and then throws another INT. Make a decision and stick with it!

This is a tough game to watch. What is the over/under on INTs?

it’s not too late for the O’didlers to join the rest of CUSA and play some football. Start getting your boy ready and you guys can play in October.
