The CUSA office hasn't helped much either.

I swear, and I hate sounding so negative here, but it seems as if our conference office has no idea of the negative ramifications it has left UAB and Marshall in.

Since they’re in Texas, they simply value Rice more. We’ve seen that before as Marshall fans.

If any Herd fans catch wind, rumors or rumblings about a potential October 3rd matchup, keep us posted here.

I really think we're going to need to get in another conference game, and it looks like FIU could be the only October 3rd possibility, and UAB fits that November 7th opening.

Unfortunately, I think you're right banker. Marshall fans catch flack for pointing out these details on occasion, but sometimes it's very obvious.

I will tell you this, if things play out this way, and we are not able to get in another conference game, and we miss out on a potential CUSA championship because of this, that will be the final straw. We will break away from this conference. But I hope it doesn't come to that.
