Memphis canceled game against UTSA due to COVID issues. So out with one Tennessee team and in with another. MTSU will now play at UTSA on Friday night. I wonder if this will count as a conference game?

Please UTSA, do not lose this game. Some of us are holding out hope that if this team goes winless, either Stock will have sense of shame and resign/retire/whatever or Massaro will have to find a way to fire him. It's a thin thread, but but its all we have to hang on to.

UTSA has to be the favorite. I imagine Stocks seat is somewhere in a Oregon wildfire.

It would be if the fans had any input into it. But even if MT goes winless, the crazy contact buyout given to Stock by the AD may over rule any common sense about the welfare of the football program.

Neither UTSA’s nor MTSU’s websites list it as a conference game, but CUSA site does. So who knows.

Any coach that loses to this MT team should not be allowed to exit the field after loss without being met by their AD and campus police and escorted immediately to their office to clean out their desk.

This Blue Raider team is not going to get better this season. Not with this staff, not with these players. We're staring at MT's first ever winless team and the fans are pissed.

A long time local sports writer yesterday joined the fans' consensus saying he doesn't think MT can play its way out of this losing streak. Bad team. Can't find a win on schedule. Can't find a positive. Everybody has got better players. Not a competitive team.

Agreed!!! Stockstill is at least as bad as Jay Hopson, and Hops showed himself the door, with a little help from the USM AD.. I would argue that Stockstill could actually be worse than Hopson, but regardless, Rick Stockstill needs to have the same date as Jay Hopson.

Do MT a favor and win against them. Then beg your remaining opponents to beat you so you can have an excuse to fire Litrell.

Our Winged Horse (affectionately know as "Pegasus" to some "Lightning" to others) is now DOWN & it doesn't look like the MT stallion can get back up. Sadly, "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" Road runners: Please feel free to put Lightning out of his misery. Our administration doesn't have the cahones to do it.
