Officials allowed Okie St to abuse substitution rule
Officials held the snap to a point that TU could not get off plays or were rushed.
Hate the Saban Rule.

I mean we called a time out on 3rd and 1 to avoid a delay of game. Then got a delay of game on the time out. We know what the rule is and still subbed with :08 seconds or less on the play clock multiple times. OSU realized that and decided to start subbing late to give us the delay of game. Our coach who is our OC never noticed and kept doing it. If we had a HC than they would likely have corrected that subbing issue with the OC to prevent those delay penalties.

Yeah---I blame OSU the first few times (they clearly abused the rule)---but either not noticing or not adjusting to that strategy was on the Tulsa staff. 04-cheers

We let this same scenario happen to us at least twice last season. Monty cannot continue to HC and OC at the same time. Even Mike Gundy tried this early in his career. When he eventually learned to let go and get an OC they went to a level they hadn't previously.
