Great news is that Jeff Scott is recruiting a higher level now. Currently top 3 in AAC, so that should help in time.

The other good news is that we (possibly) haven't yet seen the best QB on the roster in Cade Fortin, who has been out the past 2 weeks. Supposedly he will get his shot when able to play.

Jeff Scott will get the team culture straight. It all starts there. Establish trust and brotherhood among the players. Until they believe, all the recruiting in the world wiil not matter. Just look at FSU

A total of 94 COVID-19 tests were administered to Notre Dame Football student-athletes on Monday. Of those 94, there were seven positive tests, according to University Physician Dr. Matt Leiszler. Those seven student-athletes are in isolation and their close contacts have been/are being identified.
In consultation with the St. Joseph County Department of Health, the Notre Dame Football program has decided to pause all football-related activities until further testing is completed. Combined with last week’s testing results, a total of 13 players are currently in isolation, with 10 in quarantine.

Don't know, but I am guessing contact tracing.

Look, this is some dumb*** young kid, but you are straying into that territory yourself.

ND is 35-6 since 2016. It has gone 25-3 since 2017. It has had double digit win totals in 4 of the last 5 years.

(BTW, not a single FCS game opponent in that total)

Tell me how many and which "relevant" schools have a better record in that time frame.

It has won 8 in a row, second in the nation.

It has won 20 home games in a row, 2nd highest streak in ND history.

It is currently ranked #7, was ranked #12 in the final poll last year, #12 in 2017, was in the College Football playoffs and ended up ranked #3 in 2018, it made the BCS National Championship game in 2012.

It has had two undefeated regular seasons in the past 8 years. How many other teams, "relevant" or "irrelevant" have done the same?

ND is 94-37 under Brian Kelly.

Most FBS schools, whether "relevant" or "irrelevant", would love to be doing as well as "irrelevant" ND.
