Geez. New pass coverage: pull the receivers down by the facemask. The 15 yard penalty would be less than the average reception.

Boy, GT needed that turnover!

BTW, Notre Dame and Clemson are cruising as expected - the game to watch is UCF/GT.

...and now its UCF 28, GT 7

Ugly. I may have to check out App State vs. Marshall (7-7 game)

This is too painful to watch. Blown off of our own field.

Nice TD before halftime. Onside kick? (guess not).

This is pretty cool...

I'm quoting Jeff Fann: UCF is "a little bit better version of Louisville"

I'm still not watching... which on a superstitious level seems to be good for the team.

The best game nobody cares about.

Hey, speak for yourself, Mark! LOL 04-cheers

Seriously, I am very happy with this debut. It looks like we have a really good QB and a TE that could probably play on a number of NFL teams right now.

It's a long season. We shall see. Biggest goal for all of our teams (as well as all of us too!) is to stay healthy through all of this!

TBH, Eagle, it's the early game I watched. I knew it would be underrated - BC and Duke both have talent - but I also knew it didn't get a lot of hype.

Syracuse offensive game plan for next week: Drop back and throw it deep every play.
Syracuse defensive game plan for next week: Just rush the QB a few times, he's a true freshman.

Not a fan of having several enormously important "player unavailable" notices handed out at kickoff and them stacking. The DL played 3 down because they're that thin right now. The defense was slow to get set all game. Some series they weren't set a single snap. Sims is only looking at a sliver of the field right now and now all of it.

I thought the DL looked strange - thanks for explaining that.

It looked strange because the 4-2-5 was played as a 3-3-5 all game because more than half the starting DL is out. Tre Swilling is still out. Jordan Mason was out. If you were to pull up the roster's Top 15 players rather annoyingly nearly 2/3 of them are out.
